'Bag Monsters'

Lush Is Actually AMAZING

Such a pure, honest & passionate brand.

Ever since the project that finished today. (It went well)! I have found a new appreciation for Lush. I think they're amazing. They are a natural, pure, promote and help the environment, ethical issues and charities.

Current bag campaign undertaken from passionate brand Lush sending giant 'bag monsters,' urging them to swap their plastic shopping bags for a free, reusable, eco-friendly tote bag. 'Each bag monster, which resembles a walking, talking plastic landfill heap, is made of 350 plastic bags - the amount of bags an average Australian family of four will use in just three months. Other protesters will be holding placards that read ‘Starve the bag monster - ban plastic bags!’ while handing out educational leaflets to passers-by.' These are shocking facts. It makes you think. I'm ALL for banning of plastic bags. Paper bags are cool anyway.
'Glenys Oogjes, Animals Australia executive director added, “Shoppers aren’t aware that plastic bags have a devastating impact on marine animals such as whales, seals, birds and turtles. More than 100,000 animals die each year after ingesting or becoming entangled in them. Animals Australia completely supports Lush’s campaign to have plastic bags banned.”
This is a real eye opener & really makes me think about the environment. Lets hope everyone else does there bit.
This reminded me of the time I visited New York this time last January. A man walking the streets campaining against plastic bags. It's all happening.

Campaigner - New York, Soho.

I hope this inspires YOU.

It definately has me. I will continue to follow Lush.
