DSquared.

DS
Milan Fashion Week
Menswear SS 2010

Anything to say? Plenty.
Caught this when flicking through Drapers magazine.
'Summer Camp Collection.'

Despite a few dishy models strutting their stuff, this collection presents innovation, sexy, cool amongst more things.

DSquared proved to be quirky and not so serious with their tailoring. Providing a scout come casual camp. The use of camo blazers, distressed jeans, weather proof coats. I love this collection. So different to what we have seen over MFW and Paris Fashion Week.
To be honest is. I haven't really followed the trends of DSquared. But from this snippet I am quite intrigued to see what they produce next.
I am really loving this collection.

Stella McCartney.

Paris Fashion Week.

SS10

Stella McCartney

Flicking through some of the pictures of Paris this garment on the catwalk stood out for me from the collection.

I love the delicate fabric and the swirls of chiffon. Proving to be a popular trend. The choice of fabric is so beautiful and brave.

I love this dress. It's amazing. Bold statement.

Valentino.

Paris Fashion Week.
SS10
Valentino.

Young approach on the Valentino party girl for spring.

Definitely my favourite.

AMAZING.

I love the layered nude lace with shimmering layers.
Skin was bared,
politely of course.

I want:
Leather Jacket adorned in rosettes.

Paired to great effect.

Tough&Tender

Leather meets Chiffon.

If only I could afford such beautiful garments.
Swirls of chiffon running down the blouse.
Definitely appropriate for a women with youth to pull off this look.

Prior to Paris I thought showing some of the best bits of Paris Fashion Week would be perfect to build up the excitement. I love Valentino. Its young, fresh, and delicate promoting the nude shades with lace, shimmering fabrics as well as an amazing use of leather.
This collection is definitely ready-to-wear. Valentines present? Maybe?

I have these pinned on my wall in my room and I have been meaning to upload them on here for ages. So as I have some spare time I thought I had better do it. I am absolutely in love with these photographs, the garments are beautiful.

TRAVEL BLOG BEGINS.

Travelling to PARIS.
Monday 8th - Saturday 13th January 2010.

With less than two weeks to go the FMB fashion girlies are making their way on a long coach journey to Paris. Excited? Definitely. Were paying a visit to the well renowned fair being Premier Vision. I'm really looking forward to going, with many a things to do to keep us busy.

Returning to Paris will be amazing. I can't believe it the last time I went was in 1997 when I was only minutes away from the place where Princess Diana died. I can't wait to experience the culture and beauty of Paris again.

The aim of the travel blog is to observe trends, culture and historical elements of Paris. This will all be documented from now with the before, during and after taking pictures, writing experiences and noticing trends. Some may say I'm getting ahead of myself, but I can't wait so I thought I would begin now seeing as I have already made a few purchases and too excited its silly!

Sienna Miller.

I heart Sienna Miller.

Beautiful.

Sienna showcasing some black skinny Genetic Denim.

Ahh.. Sienna Sienna. This role as Edie Sedgwick, Sienna is at her best. Stunning. I adore this movie.
Whilst Jude Law is back on the cards for Sienna I still remain a loyal fan of Sienna and absolutely love her style and her natural beauty. She is amazing. Agree? I just want to see what she will do next.

Quite The Illustrator.

Flower Power.

Created January 2010.

Just a few flowers that I created on Illustrator. The grey one is my favourite. I have used it in my self-promotion work on my business card. I really like using the illustrator and learning the techniques hopefully I will be able to come up with some more work.

John Galliano Anyone?

John Galliano.

SS10.

John Galliano. John Galliano is AMAZING. These are beautiful creations. Work of art. Not too sure I would ever wear these, will probably fall over within the first few steps. To be honest, I would'nt say no though. I love the quirky, risky and edgy style of John Galliano. How could you not love these?

Vivienne Westwood.

A long awaited bit of happiness.

This book made my christmas. I absolutely love Westwood. I think she is an amazing designer as well as being individually opinionated and find her to be a very inspirational character.

Georgia May Jagger.

The New Face Of Versace.

Spotted Vogue Feb2010.

The daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall stars in the latest Versace campaign with her distintive features being her teeth and lips. I think she gives Versace a youthful and edgy presence.
I really like the posture of Georgia, how she is layed across a luxurious fur rug with her bag draped over her. I really like the images and finish of the photographs.
Photographed by Mario Testino.
Donatella Versace describes her as “a real Versace girl.”

The It BAG. Mulberry&Alexa

ALEXA CHUNG

Mulberry SS10

The 'Alexa' Bag.

Also to be found in patent black especially for Alexa.

She is so gorgeous, this style of bag is perfect.

I absolutely love love this bag. The oak colour is perfect and the shape is amazing.I love the detail with the buckles and leather straps. I'm really keen on the style of a briefcase with a few tweaks. Wonder how long it would take me to save up for one?!

"I’ve always carried around a men’s Mulberry briefcase that’s totally battered, and they’ve taken inspiration from that apparently," Alexa revealed at the Mulberry presentation last year.

AA

American Apparel
NAIL VARNISH
2010
The range consists of 18 nail varnish pots mirroring the distinctive range of downtown jerseys supporting a retro set of nail polish colours. I love this range. A fan of the turquoise blue. Really can't get enough of nail polish at the moment. Wearing vivla purple today (Barry M - Of course).

Madonna for Dolce & Gabbana

MADONNA X Dolce & Gabbana
Spring/ Summer 2010 Campaign.
Madonna for Dolce & Gabbana.
Just flicking through my Vogue that I have waited for ages to be delivered I came across this campaign. These photographs definately suit the image and age of Madonna. She is looking in her prime, I much prefer this campaign rather than last season with Louis Vuitton.

Stella X Adidas

Adidas by Stella McCartney
2010 running collection

This is my favourite picture. I love the top.
I really love this running collection. I think it's very wearable. I think the trainers are amazing, they're cool, sexy and stylish.
Running has been a passion of mine and a breathe of fresh air in my life since I can remember. Running is escapism. The wind through my hair, the cold, fresh air on my skin and the freedom I experience in my legs when I run to no where.
Trainers are the perfect answer to completing a perfect run. They make the ride easier.
I have always been interested in the function of the trainers and been a big fan of Nike air. These trainers nevertheless share the same function qualities with the speciality of Adidas, yet they share a relationship with fashion and express individuality and style.

Jean Paul Gaultier.

Jean Paul Gaultier.
Menswear. Paris.
Autumn/ Winter 2010- 11

This collection is amazing, it took place with the theme of a boxing ring running throughout. Scars, blood and bruises support this. DSquared did something similar in Milan. The boys came out in biker leather jackets, hooded tops, trousers ticked into high boots with t-shirts revealing a muscular frame. I really liked the masculine presentation of the models with a rough and ready look that is proven to be wearable.
