Lara Stone for Louis Vuitton

Madonna OUT.
Lara IN.

Louis Vuitton Advertising Campaign 2010.

I love Lara. The shoot was sexy, magical, whimsical and of course luxurious.
Photographed by Stephen Meisel.
"To model the clothes, we wanted a modern, iconic, sexy beauty. It had to be Lara Stone." I love this shoot. I think Lara is far more sophisticated and well suited for Louis Vuitton.

Choo meets Hunter.

Jimmy Choo X Hunter.
2009.
Limited Edition

“This led to our collaboration with Hunter to produce a sleek interpretation of the British classic,” Mellon said.
Personally? I'm not the biggest fan of these wellies. Separately the two brands have such a strong brand identity. Together, yes they still do. But I don't really know what it is, I'm just not attracted to them. Maybe I'm missing out?
Jo Wiley Radio 1 DJ was seen wearing them at Glastonbury, with Peaches Geldof following closely behind.
I must say. I much prefer the black ones if I were to chose.

DSquared.

DS
Milan Fashion Week
Menswear SS 2010

Anything to say? Plenty.
Caught this when flicking through Drapers magazine.
'Summer Camp Collection.'

Despite a few dishy models strutting their stuff, this collection presents innovation, sexy, cool amongst more things.

DSquared proved to be quirky and not so serious with their tailoring. Providing a scout come casual camp. The use of camo blazers, distressed jeans, weather proof coats. I love this collection. So different to what we have seen over MFW and Paris Fashion Week.
To be honest is. I haven't really followed the trends of DSquared. But from this snippet I am quite intrigued to see what they produce next.
I am really loving this collection.

Stella McCartney.

Paris Fashion Week.

SS10

Stella McCartney

Flicking through some of the pictures of Paris this garment on the catwalk stood out for me from the collection.

I love the delicate fabric and the swirls of chiffon. Proving to be a popular trend. The choice of fabric is so beautiful and brave.

I love this dress. It's amazing. Bold statement.

Valentino.

Paris Fashion Week.
SS10
Valentino.

Young approach on the Valentino party girl for spring.

Definitely my favourite.

AMAZING.

I love the layered nude lace with shimmering layers.
Skin was bared,
politely of course.

I want:
Leather Jacket adorned in rosettes.

Paired to great effect.

Tough&Tender

Leather meets Chiffon.

If only I could afford such beautiful garments.
Swirls of chiffon running down the blouse.
Definitely appropriate for a women with youth to pull off this look.

Prior to Paris I thought showing some of the best bits of Paris Fashion Week would be perfect to build up the excitement. I love Valentino. Its young, fresh, and delicate promoting the nude shades with lace, shimmering fabrics as well as an amazing use of leather.
This collection is definitely ready-to-wear. Valentines present? Maybe?

Off-white silk dress,
by Dior Haute Couture.

This shoot is amazing, I'm in love.
Rosie from Model 1.
I have these pinned on my wall in my room and I have been meaning to upload them on here for ages. So as I have some spare time I thought I had better do it. I am absolutely in love with these photographs, the garments are beautiful.

John Galliano Anyone?

John Galliano.

SS10.

John Galliano. John Galliano is AMAZING. These are beautiful creations. Work of art. Not too sure I would ever wear these, will probably fall over within the first few steps. To be honest, I would'nt say no though. I love the quirky, risky and edgy style of John Galliano. How could you not love these?

Vivienne Westwood.

A long awaited bit of happiness.

This book made my christmas. I absolutely love Westwood. I think she is an amazing designer as well as being individually opinionated and find her to be a very inspirational character.

The It BAG. Mulberry&Alexa

ALEXA CHUNG

Mulberry SS10

The 'Alexa' Bag.

Also to be found in patent black especially for Alexa.

She is so gorgeous, this style of bag is perfect.

I absolutely love love this bag. The oak colour is perfect and the shape is amazing.I love the detail with the buckles and leather straps. I'm really keen on the style of a briefcase with a few tweaks. Wonder how long it would take me to save up for one?!

"I’ve always carried around a men’s Mulberry briefcase that’s totally battered, and they’ve taken inspiration from that apparently," Alexa revealed at the Mulberry presentation last year.

Jil Sander.

Jil Sander.
Cool, Sexy and Sleek.
Menswear. Milan.
Autumn/ Winter 2010-11

I really like this collection, it's not so much in your face with the styles yet it is very much appreciated. I love the clean cut of the garments. The colour palette combines greys, creams, blacks and icy blue.
This was taken from Vogue, I really like checking out the new styles and collections. One more to go. Just a few of my favourite and different that I'm putting up. Pretty cool.
Such a desirable collection and very sleek & subtle cool. Big fan.

Prada.

Prada Hits Back To The Seventies.
Menswear. Milan.
Autumn/ Winter 2010-11

The seventies lent Prada inspiration for their latest catwalk with womens looks in their too.
The collection plays on honeycomb colours as well as teaming up with magenta, salmon and red. The styles focus on tank tops through to flared tousers. Cardigans and jackets are tight and well fitted.
To be quite honest I'm not a big fan of this style. I haven't really taken to the flared trousers and I'm not a particular fan of the honeycomb colourings pictured above. I like that it is something different on the catwalk and that inspiration from the past is a large influence on current trends with tweaks from contemporary styles and materials.
Overall. I would say abit sketchy with this Prada collection.
More of a fan of Burberry at present.

Dolce & Gabbana.

Dolce & Gabbana Double Act.
Menswear in Milan
Autumn/ Winter 2010-11

D&G go back to a nostalgic which revolved around neat and sharp silhouettes. Noticing skinny ties, tailoring on waistcoats as well as in contrast basic workwear with vested tees, waistcoats and chunky knits. I love this look.
The one accessory identified is the cap. This was noted in Vogue online. I'm loving the tailoring on the waistcoats and jackets, very prim and proper. This image second row and third picture in these military and rusky boots are special. Definately on trend. Something I've noticed around the city. Mainly women wearing the boots, growing trend for guys. Definate attraction to these boots.
